Membership Report
-November 10, 2008
Gentlemen:
This is a reminder to ask practicing Catholic men in our parish who are 18
years or older to join our council. As decided at our last meeting, each
Knight is asked to find one new member.
We will have
an informational meeting after the 9:00 and 11:30 masses in the Cardinal
Hickey Hall on December 7th.
There will be announcements in the bulletin on a number of Sundays before the
event. The meeting will be about 1 hour and we will want to have men sign form
100's (form used to sign up Knights).
We can at
this time tell them that there will be a first degree on Wednesday, December
10th at St. Brigid. The time will likely be 7:00 p.m.
So, let's give a big push. Contact some of the Gentlemen you feel really
should be Knights. Simply ask them, you might be surprised that they have been
waiting to be asked so as to have the opportunity to further serve the
church.
